Overcoming the despair and loss of hope that characterizes their lives

The Kilifi Watoto Center's mission is to see the Children and Youth of Ganze District overcome the despair and loss of hope that characterizes their lives due to the sheer poverty and lack of opportunity. The KIWACE intends to work with the Children and Youth of Ganze District, and indeed the community at large to holistically address and improve issues affecting their livelihood, especially issues of hunger and the lack of basic human needs such as water, shelter, education and/or other life skills training. The KIWACE supports Children and youth in Ganze District at large but geographic expansion will immediately follow the successful establishment of base operations. The mission will be implemented through joint planning with community based organizations managed by people of like mind and vision and or whose activities focus on Children's development. The KIWACE also forms strategic partnerships with other development partners supporting the objectives of the KIWACE and local level governments.
